On his second Belgrade concert, he will present two new exceptional talents from Israeli scene – pianist Omri Mor and percussionist Itamar Doari.

Finally, Lionel Loueke is considered to be the greatest guitar talent of the new generation, who has interesting solo records under his belt.

As he had the opportunity to play with John Coltrane, today he is evoking a memory of this legendary saxophonist and personal icon with his current collaborators. Ravi is Coltrane’s son, while Matt is a child of Coltrane’s contrabassist Jimmy Garrison.

As a member of the final ensemble of legendary Paco de Lucia, he also became a pioneer in introducing of harmonica in flamenco and that aspect of his work will be presented in Belgrade, with the quartet appropriately named – Flame&Co.

Following the successful debut on the leading international festivals, under Jones’s tutelage, he signed the contract with the label Mack Avenue, which so far released his three albums. In the domain of jazz piano, Alfredo is a great follower of a virtuoso expression of Chucho Valdes and Michel Camilo.

Following a long career as a sideman in the bands led by experienced musicians, he released his fist solo album three years ago. French Jazz Academy presented him with the award for the musician of the year, whereby last year he received another three big prizes: two German ECHO awards (ensemble and instrumentalist of the year), as well as the most important accolade so far – Les Victoires du Jazz for the jazz musician of the year in France. Living Being is his new, fusion project.

In the beginning of previous decade he lived in Brazil, where he founded a group Sao Paolo Underground with which he presents a mix of Brazilian tradition, electro acoustics and contemporary jazz in the company of Brazilian musicians Mauricio Takara and Guilherme Granado.
